Deviation Actions
So i recently got a chance to kick back, chill and enjoy the latest entry in the long running franchise that is Fast and Furious with chapter 7 blasting unto the big screen! I've been reading how this flick has been shattering box office records since it's release and i'm guessing it's more due to the fact that it's the actor Paul Walker's final flick!
When it comes to this entry i must say i came away from it all action-packed entertained but sadly disappointed by what it could've been!! It was a really big movie but like what happened to Transformers 2, i feel it was a bit too big for it's own good as it seemed rather longer than it had to be! The main thing i credit the new director for with this entry is the action and Paul's ending tribute! This flick is practically the most action packed Furious entry ever but it's also what sorta hurt what it could've been too! It's as though the director focused so much time and effort into all the onscreen action that him alongside the screenwriters forgot about blending the story right and introducing/establishing the characters and certain scenes properly! To put it blunt and short, IF YOU'VE NEVER SEEN ANY OF THE FURIOUS MOVIES 1 THROUGH 6, YOU'LL BE LOST AS FUCK WITH THIS 1!!! They placed little effort in establishing the characters and and the story blending was almost god damn near awful! At one point it's all about staying alive from Jason Statham's character then at another it's doing work for some mysterious agent (Kurt Russell) tracking down a hacker girl going by codename "Ramsey" and aiding in finding a program she designed called "God's Eye!!"
Due to the split in story, it makes things seem a bit all over the place with scenes happening so fast and randomly, you don't know what the fuck is going on! They didn't put any effort in basically blending the scenes and story to make things work more seamlessly especially at the parts where Han was killed suddenly, Dom's family home is blown to bits and then he's all the way over in Tokyo talking to Sean (main actor from Tokyo Drift version) all in like the blink of an eye. Hell they took some of the exact scenes from Tokyo Drift actually and placed it in here and not as any flash back scenes really either which just made everything move so fast and random that it'll make you confused as they hardly even stated what country they were in throughout!! The film brings the comedy with Tyrese and Ludacris' characters once again, a shit load of action (AND I MEAN ACTIONNNNN) and a rather nice and emotional tribute to Paul's character at the end! I must say that place Abu Dhabi looks gorgeous...think i'll visit that zone sometime and the movie had hot cars! I could tell the scenes though where Paul's brothers took over for him when he died but they did a good job of making it all work still! If you've seen this flick already or haven't as yet then i'd say just enjoy it for the action as if you're looking to follow the story and characters, you'll get confused like really Fast that'll possible leave you feeling all Furious throughout the rest of it! Overall, great action flick especially my favorite scene of the guys crashing a hot ass ride through 3 Abu Dhabi skyscrapers in slow-mo but could've been better had they blended the story better and placed more effort into introducing the characters on screen with extra flashback scenes surrounding what was already seen in past movies of the series!! (Dear God, sorry for writing a long bible chapter here, lol).

Video Test Editing #12 (Red Dead Redemption 2)
Greetings fellow guys and gals,
Long time no see and it's been soooooo long since really lurking around on here more over actually uploading something. Dealing with a lot over the course of the past year or 2 has really made me cut down on a lot of things and 1 of them is my activity here on Deviant Art. I really don't get on here much anymore and this'll likely be the final test trailer i'll share for now as i'm not sure what the future may hold. Anyways, onward to the subject at hand.... me being a big fan of the Red Dead series developed by Rockstargames, when 1st hearing about the Red Dead 2 prequel announcement, i knew it was only a mat
Video Test Editing #11 (NBA 2K18 Trailer)
Ello folks,
Don't lurk on here as much as before but since i had wrapped up another editing clip, decided to submit this one to close out the year. I've always wanted to do a fan made basketball trailer but couldn't decide on a song track to use until when 1st hearing the song "All the way up" by Fat Joe & Remy Ma and then later a Westside remix that was made that featured the likes of French Montana, Infared, Snoop Dogg, Game & E-40 on it. Their lyrics throughout the song, especially that of Game's was very much B-Ball related so it was only fitting that i'd go with that remix version of the song. NBA 2k18 that's published by 2k Spo
Video Test Editing #10 (Horizon Zero Dawn Trailer)
Hi guys,
It's a new year and by god it's been 1 hell of a rough ride (for me atleast) going through and dealing with a lot. Trying to take my mind off all that madness and look on a more brighter side of things, i was working on a new test edit game trailer. The game Horizon Zero Dawn is a game i'm currently playing through and enjoying every second of and one i've been following ever since it was 1st announcement. I had a lot of footage of it and decided to re-work a piece for it but i was doing so off and on as i had meant to get it done and uploaded before February when the game was initially released. The game surrounds that of the young
Video Test Editing #9 (AC Syndicate Trailer)
Greetings,
What it do nephews, it's officially a new year and as usual i'm hardly to never submitting anything, lol. Anyways, i had this trailer lying around i had started that was initially suppose to have been done from October of 2015 but i took a step away from it and just recently decided to get back at it and finally finish it off. Assassin's Creed Syndicate surrounds that of fighting for Liberty and peace through ancient London and well i was scurrying around trying to find a song fitting to creating a trailer and landed on that of Rock group Shinedown with a hit track from them called "Cut the cord," enjoy!
